Some you may have not heard of and will dream of visiting. According to Frommers.com, the best times to travel to Italy are between the months of April to June and September through October. We are excited to share all of our recommendations, being Italy destination wedding planners ourselves.

Why an Italy wedding? What makes this destination so special?

Places like Amalfi Coast and Positano are more than just Italian villas and oceanside scenic views. You’ll also find delicious traditional food and many boutique 5 star hotels. The picturesque setting makes one of these Italy wedding destinations the perfect place to say “I do”. It’s a dreamy location where love simply emanates throughout the air. Having an Italy wedding will give you and your wedding guests the opportunity to experience the Italian way of life.

Why hire an Italy destination wedding planner?

An Italy destination wedding planner will make your dream vision a reality. They will help you create design concepts that are both unique and a reflection of you as a couple. They are familiar with the ins and outs of wedding planning in Italy. Being familiar with wedding vendors is very important to decide who is the best for you. On top of it all, your destination wedding planner is the source for all things communication.

Our Top 8 Wedding Venues:

Villa Cimbrone

Villa Cimbrone has always been our dream wedding venue. Why is this at the top of our list you may ask? We believe that the ‘Terrazza dell’infinito’ - The Infinity Terrace - speaks for itself. It’s a majestic terrace of marble busts that gives a view into the infinity between the sky and sea. It’s one of the most well-known and prestigious hotels to locals in Ravello and the Amalfi Coast. The Crypt at Villa Cimbrone is also quite famous for both wedding receptions and dinners. It’s truly a unique and romantic spot with its enormous columns and stunning views.

Grand Hotel Convento di Amalfi

Grand Hotel Convento di Amalfi deludes those who aren’t as familiar with it. As part of the NH hotels, these hotels can be found almost anywhere around the world. What makes the Amalfi one so special is its unique territory. It’s located on one of the most suggestive ruins of the Amalfi Coast, overhanging the sea. The historic building once was a 13th-century monastery before it was converted into a hotel. Beautiful Arab-Norman cloister architecture surrounds the ceremony views. There is also the famous ‘Passeggiata Dei Monaci’. A panoramic path where the wedding guests can enjoy a Mediterranean garden and a spectacular panorama of the coast.

Africana Famous Club

For Vincenza’s family, this disco is famous for having been their “summer disco of youth”. It was common to take a ferry from Salerno to arrive directly by sea in front of the famous cave of Praiano. Yes, I said a cave. This is because that is exactly what the Africana Famous Club is. A cave overlooking the sea with a phenomenal terrace designed for an evening wedding reception. You even have parts of the cave that have glass floors allowing you to look directly into the water. Today, the Africana Famous Club is a special and original venue for destination weddings and welcome nights on the Amalfi coast. If you and your loved ones are ready for an experience and love to party, this location is for you!

Giardini del Fuenti

We are giving you the complete insider tip with this venue. A newer wedding venue in Italy, it’s one of our favorites and most recent finds. What makes this location so memorable are all the different event areas it offers. It is indeed a huge area laid on various levels, mainly for the Amalfi coast, that ends on their private beach. This private beach happens to be a beach club exclusive for after-party events. Cheers to wedding cocktails on the beach!

Villa Eva

A family-owned Mediterranean villa with a refined and elegant feel. Villa Eva is exclusive to wedding events. The luxury venue is decorated in the Italian Art Nouveau style of the early 1900s. Placed at the highest point of Ravello, it offers indoor and outdoor options. This venue is prepared to provide you with a complete list of offerings. An open bar, dessert buffet, and reception table arrangements. This is especially great for those who want to host large weddings and feel like everything is cared for. The only downside is that it does not offer accommodations. However, it deserves a spot on our Italy wedding destinations list with the various services included.

Villa Angelina

Villa Angelina is a private estate with an elegant Victorian style. Imagine having a picturesque ocean view as the backdrop of your ceremony. Absolutely unreal. The fragrances of orange and lemon orchards fill the air of this villa. Of course, we can’t forget the wonderful lush garden that can host large weddings. A big bonus is the accommodations they offer, a huge plus for anyone flying abroad.

Belmond Hotel Caruso

This hotel was once an 11th-century palace. The lavishness of the architecture and grounds make that quite easy to believe. Belmond Hotel Caruso has been expertly restored to offer every modern luxury. Ancient walls and fresco-covered ceilings have been carefully preserved to make it a work of art in itself. They have a majestic olive tree grove garden that is the ideal spot for intimate wedding dinners. The other side of the property allows for a wedding ceremony. All the while the beautiful infinite pool makes for a romantic area for cocktails, a DJ, and a dance party. You can now book the hotel for exclusive use.

Villa Treville

Featured in articles like Vogue and Brides, this is one of the most exclusive wedding venues on the Amalfi coast. If your dream Italy wedding is overlooking the clear blue waters of Positano, look no further. Villa Treville is a higher-end boutique set within a spectacular cliffside estate. It comes with all the amenities one would expect with a minimum budget of 1 million euros. Even the villa clubhouse has its own yacht club and is only accessible by boat. Truly a serene and tranquil location that tailors the wedding to you and your loved one.

Since we have mentioned it- We are sure you are dying to see some images of Vincenza's dream wedding on the Amalfi Coast.
