Ri & Paddy

Ri and Paddy chose one of the most legendary locations in Berlin, Clärchens Ballhaus. Grand parties have been celebrated at this venue since 1913 and you can still feel a touch of swing in the air today. Right from the start, our couple knew that it would be their wedding location. A true historic urban spirit with a touch of old glam.

The couple’s Belin wedding was a post celebration to their elopement in Ireland. Ireland is the bride’s hometown, so they used this opportunity to bring both her family and their loved ones from Germany together. One of the biggest reasons we love destination weddings is when we have couples that come from different cultural backgrounds. Alongside other talented vendors, we got to work with the same photographer that captured their elopement. Gaja’s results gave a cinematic feel, giving artistic and romantic vibes.

A designer bride

Our bride happens to be a designer at Zalando and has a flair for fashion. She enchanted us with the modern slip dress by Alarobe paired with an organza overdress by Luna Bea. This allowed her to have two looks, wearing just the slip dress for the dancing portion of the reception. She also gave herself two headpiece options. The white long veil went along with the wedding gown seamlessly. Then for the party night look, a classic beaded headband. Zo & Willow is the bridal boutique that helped her bring her wedding dress dreams to come to life. Ri also worked with makeup artist Gleam Blush to enhance her natural beauty. It was overall the perfect look for a winter wedding.

The wedding weekend

When Ri entered the church with beautiful singing and guitar sounds in the background, you couldn’t help but feel goosebumps. The ceremony was honored in both German and English language to accommodate guests from all over. On Cloud Bloom provided stunning flower arrangements throughout the church and Clärchens ballroom. It was all truly a vision.

The wedding went on until the early hours of the morning. Kokokollektiv, their chosen live band, really got everyone going. Even more amazing was that Ri and Paddy looked so fresh the following morning for their day after-wedding shoot. We very much believe if can you make it to such a shoot after the hangover breakfast, you will be rewarded with beautiful pictures. A great opportunity to review the events and to enjoy the moment again undisturbed as a couple.

When we asked the bride what her favorite memory from the weekend was, she said it was an indescribable feeling to enter the hall filled with family and friends for the first time as a husband and wife. All guests cheered and applauded, the atmosphere was exciting and there was a lot of love in the room!

R & P, we wish you all the best for your future together. You have enchanted us with your love for each other and your positive nature for the community that surrounds you. It was a great pleasure for us to have been a part of your big day!
