Theresa & Sebastian
As wedding planners, we love weddings in Berlin of all sizes, but there is something about a small destination wedding venue that we will always have a soft spot for. Villa Schützenhof offers an intimate setting for our clients seeking small weddings. It also happens to be a Berlin wedding venue favorite. It gives off an upscaled, modern feel without losing its traditional charm. This wedding venue in Germany makes it possible to have a plan A outside, with an equally elegant plan B to come indoors in case it rains. Hint: a wedding planner's dream.
Theresa and Sebastian met back in 2017 in the busy city of San Francisco, California. The first couple of years of their relationship were a true testament to their love. From 2 years of long distance to moving in together just to go straight into lockdown. Truly tempting fate but she remained in their favor. They decided to bet on forever and tie the knot in Theresa’s hometown of Berlin. One of our own has been the best of friends with Theresa so, it was a pleasure to give back to both of them and help their vision come to life.
A ballroom destination wedding venue
The venue you land on can make or break your wedding dream, at least we think so! You want a venue that has multiple spaces and offers you flexibility. Each part of your big day should feel special in its own way. This allows for some movement for your guests and ease of setup for your vendors. That’s what makes, Villa Schützenhof, truly stand out.
This Berlin wedding venue has two, 750 sqm event spaces with a massive courtyard garden and can hold any size party from 50 to 500 guests. A huge plus is that you can either partially or completely book out the entire venue which we definitely prefer the ladder! Last but not least, you have access to their optional event support team that can work alongside your wedding planners for a smooth setup and take-down process. Villa Schützenhof is truly an ideal destination wedding venue for couples looking to say I do in Berlin, Germany.
Decor filled with peonies and roses
The decor of the evening started with an elegant bouquet for our bride that was a mix of peonies, roses, and greenery curated by our dear colleague , Wanna Marry. Theresa’s favorite flower is a peony so we knew that it was essential to have them a part of the decor. To mix masculine and feminine energy for the couple, we made sure to balance the rose and pink florals with soft cream and gray color palettes. Sebastian and Theresa dreamed of a warm and festive atmosphere for their big day. We knew gold cutlery would elevate the overall design.
We also took notes from our venue and keep it modern with a traditional yet elegant ambiance. When it was time for dinner, the room was filled with the golden sunset and light bounced off the gold cutlery, filling the space just as we had hoped. This Berlin wedding venue really ticked all our boxes, just as it does every time we get the pleasure of curating here.
