“We hired IDO events to plan our wedding on 10/10/20 and are super glad we had such a great, flexible and hardworking duo on our side during such an uncertain time.
Sharon handled all the communication for us with all the service providers and always gave us helpful and valuable tips during the planning process.
Since our wedding took place in the midst of Corona chaos, there were accordingly many hurdles and much back and forth in the weeks leading up to the wedding. IDOevents was ready months in advance to provide a plan B in case the wedding had to be postponed. We waited until a few days before the wedding to see how the Covid regulations would play out regarding the number of guests for parties, and it turned out that only 25 guests would be allowed to attend if we held it at the planned location. Our hearts dropped and we were pretty distraught because we could never imagine a wedding with 25 people (even our families couldn't fit that number).
Thank goodness they found a solution just in time: move the party to another location. In the end, 2 days (!) before the wedding, the two of them started to reschedule the entire party and move it to another location so that we could celebrate with 50 guests. This is called commitment and we are sure that you can't expect this from many other event planners.
Of course, some compromises had to be made due to the location change and additional things had to be organized here and there, such as a shuttle for the guests, which the two of them also arranged without any problems.
They worked out the changes last minute with all the service providers and even worked a night shift for us before the wedding day to decorate the new location as beautifully as possible, because otherwise there wouldn't have been enough time. They also helped us make sure all hygiene and safety measures were followed and all guests stayed healthy.
They really went out of their way to make our wishes come true and handled the circumstances in an exemplary manner even in crisis situations - that's what good event planning is all about.
In the end, we had a beautiful wedding and a super great celebration that all the guests were thrilled with. Without IDOevents, the whole thing would never have been possible and we can only recommend them as wedding planners, especially in uncertain and complicated times like this!!! Their flexibility and commitment are really worth their weight in gold!”
