A Workshop of Artistry in Provence Day Two

In the Alpilles in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, Domaine de Chalamon is where history and modernity converge. We embarked on a unique journey in partnership with Marion Co—a celebration of Provence's timeless beauty through the lenses of talented photographers. Join us as we unveil the magic behind day two of the workshop, where romantic subtleties meet contemporary design.

Where Beauty Meets History

Nestled amidst the breathtaking Alpilles landscapes, Domaine de Chalamon stretches its gardens across nearly 1700 square meters. At the end of a tree-lined avenue, this 16th-century country house slowly reveals itself, immersing visitors in the rich tapestry of French art de vivre.

Our first encounter with this splendid venue left us in awe. Domaine de Chalamon effortlessly preserves its historical charm while infusing it with modern sophistication. The soft mint-green rooms, framed by towering pines, cypresses, manicured boxwoods, and fields of olive trees, exude an air of serenity and grace.

A Fusion of Past and Present

Inspired by the venue's beauty, we set out to create an atmosphere that seamlessly combines the romance of the past with the allure of the present. Our aim was to craft a table setting that radiated a unique, delicate atmosphere—a true reflection of Provence's enchanting spirit.

The Subtle Art of Details

At the heart of our design, an impressive floral centerpiece in white and soft peach takes center stage, immediately capturing the eye. Yet, as you delve deeper into the scene, you'll discover captivating candle holders—testaments to exquisite craftsmanship. These cool, asymmetrical pieces are perfectly complemented by fine glasses and soft tulle fabric, adding a touch of modernity to the setting.

An Ode to Romance

In our pursuit of elegance, we adopted a more casual approach to cutlery styling. Knotting the knife and fork with loose ends, we emphasized the romantic undertones of the design. A soft peach napkin, crafted from the gentlest of fabrics, introduced a subtle pop of color—an exquisite complement to the property's soothing wall tones.
